Yeeyo Lou

I was born in Taiwan and grew up on pop radio, but a five-month road trip across America in my camper van put the wanderer in my soul. From the skyline of New York City to the open ranges of Montana, from the luxury high-rises to the deserted valley towns in New Mexico, the many ways of life that I witnessed then shaped the music I make. Every track comes from a world I stumbled upon along the way, or wished I had.

Singing is my passion, be it in English or Mandarin. I love weaving layers of vocals into a story, and letting it be punctuated with dance beats or dusted with a little Americana. That's what happens when you grow up on one side of the world but can't stop being drawn to the other. And that's how it feels when you are grounded on earth yet still keep on dreaming...
